MEER shines at Aavishkar — Pune's premier university research convention
The MEER India team presented at the Avishkar Competition at Fergusson College, taking Mirrors for Earth's Energy Rebalancing into the Pure Sciences category.
A 100-word abstract earned the team its place among the country's brightest student researchers. The day opened with a panel of industry experts and judges before moving to the poster presentations.
In six minutes on stage, the team articulated the science of surface reflection, MEER's material technology and the organization's global projects — supported by a physical rooftop model that let judges see the technology in action.
Three days later, the team learned their poster had been selected to advance to the next level at the university, validating MEER's contribution to climate science.
