MEER
Collaboration with Romanian Atmospheric 3D Research Observatory
Last week Dr. Ye Tao visited the Romanian Atmospheric 3D Research Observatory, a collaboration of meteorologists and physical instrument builders dedicated to researching the chemical processes and air circulation movements involving moisture, clouds, and aerosols in the atmosphere above site. There are exciting prospects for setting up a MEER experiment on the grassy areas, where there is plenty of room for reflector arrays between their state-of-the-art instruments. The leaders of the Observatory expressed interest in providing MEER a possible pathway toward more internationally funded collaboration.
