MEER sponsors several types of field trips. Depending on funding availability, we schedule field
trips into coastal waters aboard 49 passenger boats, intended primarily for elementary or secondary
school classes that cannot fund the entire trip with there own funds. Contact MEER for more details.
Another type of field trip involves one or two week diving trips to various parts of the world, accompanied by a marine biologist. The trip schedules vary, so contact MEER for details. MEER staff also conduct internal field expeditions to gather material and photos for this site. The tentative field trip schedule for MEER is listed chronologically below. A "virtual field trip" section about each trip will appear approximately one week after the conclusion of each trip.
